{"id":2529,"date":"2006-11-15T05:44:56","date_gmt":"2006-11-14T21:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2006\/11\/14\/southwest-china-works-towards-travel-zone\/"},"modified":"2006-11-15T05:44:56","modified_gmt":"2006-11-14T21:44:56","slug":"southwest-china-works-towards-travel-zone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2006\/11\/15\/2529\/","title":{"rendered":"Southwest China Works Towards Travel Zone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Six provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in southwest China have announced plans to eliminate barriers in trans-regional travel and to build a green travel area.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The six areas are Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province, Sichuan Province, Chongqing Municipality, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Tibet Autonomous Region. They say that they will together remove limits on the travel buses going among their areas and reduce or cancel the tolls for tour buses.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, they will allow some travel agencies to provide tour group and reception service in their region without a ground reception agency so as to avoid the unnecessary trouble for the tourists due to tour group transferring.<\/p>\n<p>The parties will also adopt a \"All-in-one Ticket\" (Yi Piao Tong) for all their scenic spots to provide convenience to tourists.<\/p>\n<p>The six regions will form a complete entity after the no-barrier system is set up and they will also promote their travel services and products uniformly.
