{"id":30483,"date":"2004-06-30T08:51:18","date_gmt":"2004-06-30T00:51:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2004\/06\/30\/starwood-announces-expansion-in-china-with-signing-of-new-landmark-in-beijing\/"},"modified":"2004-06-30T08:51:18","modified_gmt":"2004-06-30T00:51:18","slug":"starwood-announces-expansion-in-china-with-signing-of-new-landmark-in-beijing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2004\/06\/30\/30483\/","title":{"rendered":"Starwood Announces Expansion In China With Signing Of New Landmark In Beijing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starwood Hotels  and  Resorts Worldwide, Inc and Beijing Jin Hao Real Estate Company Limited announced an agreement whereby Starwood will manage The Westin Beijing-Financial Street in Beijing, China.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Scheduled to open in mid 2006, the hotel will be located at the Financial Street in Beijing, the emerging financial center of Beijing.&amp;nbsp; The hotel is part of a multi-purpose complex that houses the hotel in one tower and serviced residences in a separate tower.&amp;nbsp; The complex will feature 500 rooms and 216 serviced residences, and close to 2,510 square meters of meeting space.&amp;nbsp; Other hotel facilities include five dining outlets, sports and recreational facilities, a health club, an indoor swimming pool and retail center.<\/p>\n<p>The Westin Beijing Financial Street marks another major step in Starwood Hotels  and  Resorts' fast-track expansion in China.&amp;nbsp; This is the fourth development in China signed by Starwood in the first six months of 2004.
