An international charity pop music extravaganza billed Wall of Hope – China 2004 – produced by the same Hollywood team credited with the success of Live Aid, will take place in Beijing at the Great Wall Juyongguan North Gate on September 25, 2004.<\/p>\n

Presented to an audience projected at 10,000, proceeds from this landmark event will benefit the China Children and Tennager's Fund, China's largest charitable organizations.&nbsp; Additionally, the event will commemorate the 20th anniversary of China's Great Wall Restoration Project.<\/p>\n

As the first ever international pop concert to be staged at the Great Wall, the musical event has gathered the hottest American pop superstars like Alicia Keys, Cyndi Lauper, Boyz II Men, Nellie Mackay and Sylvia Tosun .&nbsp; Famous producing masters Hal Uplinger (Live Aid, Academy Awards) and Phil Chilvers will work together at the concert.&nbsp; <\/p>\n
