The hotel occupancy rate increased 2.09 percentage points to 61.38%. SanPhoenix International Airport handled 7.14 million passengers, 31.6% more than in the same period of last year.<\/p>\n<p>Russia became the major overseas source market for Sanya during the period. A total of 100,000 Russian tourists visited Sanya in the first nine months.<\/p>\n<p>The committee also said that tourism revenues rose 21.6% from a year earlier to CNY10.08 billion in the first three quarters.
