{"id":30989,"date":"2009-02-23T05:32:32","date_gmt":"2009-02-22T21:32:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/en\/?p=10688"},"modified":"2009-02-23T05:32:32","modified_gmt":"2009-02-22T21:32:32","slug":"colombia-approved-as-travel-destination-for-chinese-tourists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2009\/02\/23\/30989\/","title":{"rendered":"Colombia Approved As Travel Destination For Chinese Tourists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Xi Jinping, the vice president of China, has announced that China has listed Columbia as a travel destination for Chinese citizens.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When attending a Sino-Colombian entrepreneur breakfast meeting, Xi stated that China had formally approved Colombia as a tourist destination for Chinese citizens and this was conducive to the promotion of tourism cooperation and trade relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>Relevant departments of the two countries will now hold discussions and after they sign a formal memorandum of understanding, Colombia will become the sixth travel destination in South America for Chinese tourists following Chile, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, and Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>As an important tourism center in Latin America, Colombia features advanced tourism facilities.
