This is the first air-route connecting Jordan to China.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Samer Majali, president of Royal Jordanian Airlines, said that the company plans to initially operate three round-trip flights per week between Amman and Hong Kong via the Thai capital Bangkok and that it expects to increase this to five flights per week by the summer.<\/p>\n<p>With this new route, Jordan and China will strengthen their ties and encourage the development of a friendly relationship in all fields, especially in business, trade, and tourism.<\/p>\n<p>It is reported that Hong Kong has become the airline's fifty-fifth new destination since Royal Jordanian Airlines joined the Oneworld Alliance. Royal Jordanian Airlines is a state-owned airline with more than 40 years of history in Jordan.
