Lim has been in the hospitality industry for the last 18 years, and prior to joining ascott, he held several executive positions with several local and international hotels groups, including a regional sales and marketing role based in Hong Kong. He is an alumnus of the National University of Singapore, with a bachelors degree in Business Administration, and he holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Singapore Institute of Management and Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom. He is charged with strengthening Ascott's brand leadership position, and he also oversees Ascott's sales initiatives to maximize its market potential, and accelerate cross-marketing of the Ascott, Somerset and Citadines brands for the Group.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"right\" alt=\"Siew Wan Tien\" id=\"image2892\" title=\"Siew Wan Tien\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/070108-ascott-siew.gif\" \/>Siew Wan Tien is the new Vice President of Finance, China. Tien controls all finance matters for Ascott International in China, including budget control and revenue strategy. A Singaporean, Siew Wan has 14 years of finance experience gained in both public accounting and commercial sectors. Prior to joining Ascott, Tien was with Reed Exhibitions for four years and was based in Beijing for three years as their Financial Controller for China.
