{"id":31676,"date":"2007-01-12T08:04:47","date_gmt":"2007-01-12T00:04:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2007\/01\/12\/travel-agencies-required-to-issue-trip-schedules-for-hong-kong-trips\/"},"modified":"2007-01-12T08:04:47","modified_gmt":"2007-01-12T00:04:47","slug":"travel-agencies-required-to-issue-trip-schedules-for-hong-kong-trips","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2007\/01\/12\/31676\/","title":{"rendered":"Travel Agencies Required To Issue Trip Schedules For Hong Kong Trips"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong has just passed a new rule requiring travel agencies who receive inbound travel groups to offer a trip schedule for their tourists.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the past, many mainland Chinese tour agencies that visited Hong Kong cheated their clients by not delivering them to promised venues, shops, scenic areas, and restaurants.<br \/>\nAccording to TICHK's requirement, travel schedules should list the routes, lodging and shopping details. The new rule also requires that travel agencies should offer enough shopping time for tourists, and remind tourists that they have 14-day guarantee for their purchased goods in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>The new rule will be implemented before the Spring Festival Golden Week. After it is implemented, travel agencies need to submit their trip schedule to TICHK first for to be added to a registry.
