{"id":31829,"date":"2007-02-14T08:48:44","date_gmt":"2007-02-14T00:48:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2007\/02\/14\/3144-hong-kong-macao-air-ticket-agencies-cant-sell-mainland-flight-tickets\/"},"modified":"2007-02-14T08:48:44","modified_gmt":"2007-02-14T00:48:44","slug":"hong-kong-macao-air-ticket-agencies-cant-sell-mainland-flight-tickets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2007\/02\/14\/31829\/","title":{"rendered":"Hong Kong, Macao Air Ticket Agencies Can't Sell Mainland Flight Tickets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Civil Aviation Administration of China has published an explanation on the second complementary rule of \"The Regulation for Foreign Investment in China's Civil Aviation Industry\" on its official website.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The notice says air ticket agents from Hong Kong and Macao can only sell tickets for international lines and those Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan lines or tickets for the cargo business of domestic lines.<\/p>\n<p>CAAC's explanation means that these air ticket agents from Hong Kong and Macao have not been granted the right to sell mainland Chinese passenger air tickets.<\/p>\n<p>From January 4th, 2007, the aviation dealership market of China had been opened for Hong Kong and Macao firms.
