The Civil Aviation Administration of China has passed a new rule on the management of general aviation business licenses in which it says that it will transfer the rights of reviewing aviation operation licenses and managing the aviation market to the local aviation management bureaus.<\/p>\n
The new rule, which is called General Aviation Operation License Management Rule, was put into force on February 14.<\/p>\n
In the past, aviation companies in China had to undergo complicated procedures for applying for a business license with CAAC. Now with the rights being issued to the lower administrative levels, the applicants will know their application results within 20 days since their submission of the application.<\/p>\n
Li Jingao, director of the Transportation Division of CAAC East China Management Bureau, says that the transfer of the approval rights has greatly simplified the approval procedures.<\/p>\n
The general aviation industry applies to all aviation-related business other than civil aviation. China's domestic general aviation service has long suffered from \"malnutrition\" and at present there are only about 30 general aviation companies in the country. Li says that un-matched rules and regulations are the main reason why the domestic general aviation business is developing so slowly.<\/p>\n
CAAC will also hold a seminar in March to discuss ways of eliminating the barriers that get in the way of the development of general aviation enterprises in China.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
