A German with more than 16 years of hotel management experience with Shangri-la Hotels and Resorts and Ritz Cartlton group, he was previously the resident manager of Shangri-la Hotel Beijing where he was responsible for hotel operations and played an instrumental role in the opening of the expansion tower.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/070711-shangrilaqd-moreau.gif\" title=\"Gael Moureau\" alt=\"Gael Moureau\" align=\"right\" \/>Gael Moureau is the new executive chef. A native of France, and having worked also in Michelin star restaurants in France in the early part of his career, his last appointment as the executive chef of Shangri-La Hotel Beijing where one of his greatest achievement was to lead a team to serve over 13000 guests as the official caterer for the China Open Tennis Tournament.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/070711-shangrilaqd-soo.gif\" title=\"Simon Soo\" alt=\"Simon Soo\" align=\"left\" \/>Simon Soo joins the hotel as an executive assistant manager for rooms, responsible for the daily operations of front office, housekeeping and guest services.
