{"id":33108,"date":"2006-01-24T01:13:11","date_gmt":"2006-01-23T17:13:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2006\/01\/24\/south-korea-issues-travel-alert-for-chinese-cities\/"},"modified":"2006-01-24T01:13:11","modified_gmt":"2006-01-23T17:13:11","slug":"south-korea-issues-travel-alert-for-chinese-cities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2006\/01\/24\/33108\/","title":{"rendered":"South Korea Issues Travel Alert For Chinese Cities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"60\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/images\/southkorea-flag.gif\" width=\"120\" align=\"right\">The South Korean government has issued a travel warning for Koreans traveling to several Chinese cities, citing continuing crimes against its citizens staying or traveling in China.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The South Korean Embassy in Beijing said it has been receiving a growing number of reports about such serious crimes as murder, robbery and kidnapping targeting Koreans in the eastern Chinese cities of Qingdao, Shandong Province, and Shenyang, in Liaoning Province.<\/p>\n<p>The South Korean Consulate General in Qingdao also said that Chinese criminals, mainly in an attempt to make money by kidnapping or issuing murder threats, are increasingly reported in the southern province of Guangdong.<\/p>\n<p>The crimes are posing serious threats to the personal safety of South Koreans there,\" said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Seoul.
