Vasing Kittikul, Executive Vice President Commercial Department of Thai Airways, and Gu Jiadan, Senior Vice President Shanghai Airlines, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to start their commercial cooperation.<\/p>\n
Vasing Kittikul said that the MOU signing between THAI and Shanghai Airlines aims to increase more travel convenience for the airlines' passengers.<\/p>\n
The Special Prorate Agreement (SPA) also expands flying network between the two airlines providing passengers with fast and easy services such as through check-in, frequent flyer program, less connecting flight time, and special privileged lounge services for the passengers of the two airlines at any airport worldwide. In addition, the agreement develops commercial cooperation and supports increased tourism industry demand for Thailand and China.<\/p>\n
Thai Airways will have more operating domestic points in China while Shanghai Airlines will fly to many of Thai Airways's operating domestic destinations in Thailand.<\/p>\n
Gu said, \"This agreement between Shanghai Airlines and THAI, our strong and growing commitment to customers on both sides of the Asia Pacific. We are pleased to work closely with our partners at THAI, to extend our route network from China to Thailand, while providing the traveling public of the PRC with more accesses to Thailand.
