The site currently consists of around 200 pages of information and provides a comprehensive overview of the South Pacific with complete profiles on SPTO's 12 Pacific Island member countries.<\/p>\n<p>Potential travelers from China can learn about the culture and history of the region, view an extensive gallery of pictures, browse accommodation and activities options, locate travel agents and understand travel requirements to the region.<\/p>\n<p>Peter Dawkins, Internet and Marketing Manager for the SPTO said: \"Over the course of the last 12 months, we have been seeing more and more Pacific Island nations being granted Approved Destination status from the People's Republic of China and this now presents a great opportunity for increasing visitor numbers to the region.
