{"id":34140,"date":"2006-11-17T06:58:26","date_gmt":"2006-11-16T22:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2006\/11\/17\/26-beijing-hotels-lose-star-qualifications\/"},"modified":"2006-11-17T06:58:26","modified_gmt":"2006-11-16T22:58:26","slug":"26-beijing-hotels-lose-star-qualifications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2006\/11\/17\/34140\/","title":{"rendered":"26 Beijing Hotels Lose Star Qualifications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Beijing Tourism Administration has revoked the stars of 26 hotels in Beijing because of old equipment, serious facility damage, bad service and inefficient safety management.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Of the 26 hotels, 9 are three-star hotels, including Huabei Hotel, Longtan Hotel, and Gongti Hotel in Chaoyang District and Beijing Cui Ming Zhuang Hotel in Dongcheng District, and 15 are 2-star hotels, including Qianmen Xin Xin Hotel, Tiantan Haoyuan Hotel, Longshan Hotel and Guanghua Hotel. Two one-star hotels&#8211;Phoenix Villa and Yuyuan Conference Center&#8211;have also seen their qualifications revoked.<\/p>\n<p>A representative from BTA has told local media that these hotels have failed to meet their respective qualification standards for a variety of reasons.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, BTA has issued verbal warnings to 11 hotels that have service problems.
