{"id":34162,"date":"2006-11-24T05:30:21","date_gmt":"2006-11-23T21:30:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2006\/11\/24\/aviation-reform-will-be-tested-in-wuhan\/"},"modified":"2006-11-24T05:30:21","modified_gmt":"2006-11-23T21:30:21","slug":"aviation-reform-will-be-tested-in-wuhan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2006\/11\/24\/34162\/","title":{"rendered":"Aviation Reform Will Be Tested In Wuhan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Civil Aviation Administration of China reports that the first comprehensive reform on the air transportation in China has landed in Wuhan and CAAC will offer all possible policy support to make Wuhan the fourth largest aviation hub in the country after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The support that CAAC will offer to Wuhan includes testing the relevant air transportation reform policies in Wuhan; opening the domestic aviation market of Wuhan and allowing domestic airlines to set up branches there; actively supporting domestic and foreign airlines to launch non-stop international flights departing from Wuhan; and giving priority to Wuhan in making relevant aviation industry subsidy policies.<\/p>\n<p>Yang Yuanyuan, director of CAAC, explains why they have chosen Wuhan as a trial place for the reform. He says that Hubei Province, where Wuhan is located, is in the center of China, so it has great geographical advantages and is a natural transfer station to reach every part of China, particularly the western part of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Wuhan Tianhe Airport received more than 5 million passengers by the end of last month.
