Didier's key focus is on strategic growth and pre-opening activities for both Le M\u00e9ridien hotels in the People's Republic of China.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Didier, a French national, began his hospitality career in 1978 at Le M\u00e9ridien Khartoum, Sudan &#8211; Africa and spent 23 years working in a variety of senior level management positions for Le M\u00e9ridien Hotels  and  Resorts in Africa, Indonesia, Middle East, Thailand, USA, Cambodia, Japan and New Caledonia.&amp;nbsp; Out of the 23 years of hospitality experience, he worked 19 years in Asia opening 5 hotels.<\/p>\n<p>In 1984, Didier joined another international chain for 2 years as General Manager of a hotel in Jakarta.
