Thai AirAsia will initially serve one daily flight between Bangkok and Xiamen and vice versa.<\/p>\n
Tony Fernandes, Group Chief Executive Officer, AirAsia said, This is truly an exciting time not only for AirAsia, but also for the entire air travel industry in China. AirAsia has brought low fares to the people of Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Macau and Indonesia. We have revolutionized air travel for the people in the region and encouraged trade and tourism to prosper in the countries that we fly. Today marks another exciting chapter for AirAsia as we bring our low fares, and unique experience to the people of Xiamen and the Fujian region. We would like to thank Chairman Wang TiTang, and Xiamen Airport Authority for the warm welcome extended to AirAsia. We strongly believe that Xiamen is a great debut for AirAsia, one which can potentially enable the 1.3 billion people living in China to gain access to low fares and the gift of flight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Thai AirAsia will launch flights between Bangkok and Xiamen, China, on April 25, 2005.
