{"id":34767,"date":"2005-09-21T22:35:32","date_gmt":"2005-09-21T14:35:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2005\/09\/21\/beijing-travel-distribution-center-formally-opens\/"},"modified":"2005-09-21T22:35:32","modified_gmt":"2005-09-21T14:35:32","slug":"beijing-travel-distribution-center-formally-opens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2005\/09\/21\/34767\/","title":{"rendered":"Beijing Travel Distribution Center Formally Opens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"76\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/images\/050921-beijing-tourbus.gif\" width=\"117\" align=\"right\">The Beijing Travel Distribution Center, which has been brewing for more than a year, formally opened yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Distribution Center will run three bus dispatching sites near Tiananmen Square and Deshengmen.<\/p>\n<p>The first group of 70 buses will be used for the Beijing to Badaling Great Wall route and the Beijing to Ming Tombs route.<\/p>\n<p>With the expected constant improvements in the distribution center, the current 18 tour bus routes ranging from No. 1 to No. 18, which have served for over a decade, will be gradually phased out.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be a guide on each of the 70 buses to introduce the travel destinations to tourists, and the center promises not to force tourists into shopping malls.
