This is a newly created position in Super 8 in recognition of the hotel company's goals to focus on customer satisfaction and product quality.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lau initially joined Super 8 in June 2005 as Director, Strategic Projects. His strategic business planning and management skills along with his experience in international sales and marketing are an ideal fit for rapidly expanding Super 8.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Super 8 Dr. Lau held a number of senior management positions, including CEO of MeZZine Ltd, which provided wireless value added services to the media industry, Managing Director of Webtransport (Beijing) Co. Ltd., which produced value-added services to the mobile telecom industry and Vice President at Prosten Technology Co. Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lau is a Canadian citizen who was born in Indonesia, grew up in Hong Kong, and lived and received his education in Canada.
