{"id":34812,"date":"2005-09-30T22:17:16","date_gmt":"2005-09-30T14:17:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2005\/09\/30\/cata-hopes-to-moderate-travel-rates\/"},"modified":"2005-09-30T22:17:16","modified_gmt":"2005-09-30T14:17:16","slug":"cata-hopes-to-moderate-travel-rates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2005\/09\/30\/34812\/","title":{"rendered":"CATA Hopes To Moderate Travel Rates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"71\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/images\/050930-cata.gif\" width=\"119\" align=\"right\">This week China's civil aviation industry arranged its first self-governing organization called CATA (China Aviation Transportation Association) in Beijing.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to Li Jiaxiang, councilor of CATA's first council, CATA will launch a Price Work Team to manage the airfare prices in China, and then draft some regulations to prevent unfair competition and discounts in the airfare market. <\/p>\n<p>CATA will focus on external affairs in the initial period, including coordinating relations with fuel and aviation material suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>It is expected that the establishment of CATA will help control some poor pricing models within the aviation market.
