The airline's Managing Director Titus Naikuni said the Guangzhou route was necessary due to increased appeal of China as a business destination for Kenyans.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The amount of interest on the route is tremendous and we are adding a lot of flavour to it by connecting all the shopping cities in that part of the world, he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the round-trip journey would include stopovers in Bangkok and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>Naikuni, speaking during the official inauguration of the flights in Nairobi, said China was currently the world's focus and it was the strategy of the airline to use its new route to spread its wings in the region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kenya Airways has commenced scheduled flights to China.
