{"id":34903,"date":"2005-11-10T23:07:24","date_gmt":"2005-11-10T15:07:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2005\/11\/10\/airlines-will-enforce-tough-rules-on-flights-to-hong-kong\/"},"modified":"2005-11-10T23:07:24","modified_gmt":"2005-11-10T15:07:24","slug":"airlines-will-enforce-tough-rules-on-flights-to-hong-kong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2005\/11\/10\/34903\/","title":{"rendered":"Airlines Will Enforce Tough Rules On Flights To Hong Kong"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"69\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/images\/051110-hongkong-airplanerules.gif\" width=\"106\" align=\"right\">Airlines will have to strictly enforce a new Hong Kong aviation security ordinance that lists prohibited acts by passengers onboard commercial aircraft flying to or out of the territory.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The offenses are contained in Ordinance No. 14 of the Hong Kong Police Force, which takes effect November 10, 2005 and covers all airlines serving Hong Kong International Airport.<\/p>\n<p>These acts include include:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Acts of violence, threats and destruction of property against the passengers and crew of the flight.<br \/>&#8211; Willfully obstructing a member of the crew in the performance of duties.<br \/>&#8211; Failing to comply with instructions for safety precaution and the maintenance of discipline onboard.<br \/>&#8211; Behaving in a disorderly manner where good order onboard is jeopardized.<br \/>&#8211; Tampering or interfering with any component, equipment or system installed in the aircraft.<br \/>&#8211; Being in a state of intoxication onboard as to jeopardize the safety of other persons and property, as well as good order onboard.<br \/>&#8211; Smoking in the aircraft.<br \/>&#8211; Operating any electronic device in violation of instructions.<\/p>\n<p>Flight crews are required to report any violation of the ordinance to the Hong Kong Police Force.
