The 511-room hotel is owned by Summit Property Development Company and managed by Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Norman Rafelson, General Manager of The Regent Shanghai, said: As a major regional gateway city and the economic capital of China, Shanghai is a strategic global location for the Regent hotel brand. We are very privileged to be working with Summit Property Development Co. for the opening of our first Regent hotel in China.<\/p>\n<p>Rising over Yan An West Road, this 53-storey hotel is designed by world-renowned architects and interior designers.
