Chinese residents of Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces who are applying for an Italian visa no longer need to queue in the long line at the Italian Consulate in Shanghai.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Instead, they can directly go to the center to send application materials and apply for an interview. <\/p>\n<p>The Italian Consulate in Shanghai says it has set up this visa center in order to offer more convenience for visa applicants and to save time for them.<\/p>\n<p>The new visa center provides such convenient services as online inquiry of the application process and longer opening hours.<\/p>\n<p>The criteria for approving or refusing a visa at the center will remain the same as previously adopted at the Italian Consulate in Shanghai.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Italy has opened its first visa center in Shanghai.
