He Yang Weiguo, Consul General of the People's Republic of China, hailed Qatar Airways' decision to add the new Beijing service to its existing Shanghai route as helping build Chinese-Gulf relations.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u0093I congratulate Qatar Airways on this new route, which further improves connectivity between the GCC and China,\u0094 said the Consul General. \u0093This comes as cooperation between the Gulf and China is on the rise and this new route will contribute towards an increased exchange of information.\u0094<\/p>\n<p>\u0093This new route reinforces Qatar Airways' commitment to continually look for new opportunities and better serve our passengers,\u0094 said Naveen Chawla, Qatar Airways' Area Manager, Dubai  and  Northern Emirates.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093With an increasing Chinese population residing in the UAE, we are confident that this new route will prove extremely popular.\u0094<\/p>\n<p>Qatar Airways' Dubai\u0096Doha\u0096Beijing service operates thrice-weekly, with a transit time in Doha of only 75 minutes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Qatar Airway has launched its new Dubai\u0096Doha\u0096Beijing service.
