Pictured here is American pop diva Alicia Keys being entertained with a the witty rundown of the Chinese culture by Shangri-La Hotel's General Manager George Wee, as the two were en route to her hotel press conference.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"118\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/images\/200409-shangrilabj-cyndilauper1.gif\" width=\"150\" align=\"left\">Later, the Shangri-La's beautiful Chinese garden proved a perfect backdrop for Alicia Keys and George Wee, the General Manager, to continue their conversation.<\/p>\n<p>American pop legend Cyndi Lauper's jokes found a ready audience in fellow vocalist Nellie Mackay and George Wee as the three had a chance converse. At the press conference prior to the concert itself, Cyndi Lauper and Alicia Keys were quick to offer their admiration of each other's musical abilities.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"214\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/images\/200409-shangrilabj-sylviatosun.gif\" width=\"150\" align=\"right\">American songstress Silvia Tosun proudly displayed her traditional Chinese dress to the Beijing media.
