{"id":35127,"date":"2004-10-09T02:10:11","date_gmt":"2004-10-08T18:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2004\/10\/09\/hilton-dalian-management-agreement-to-end\/"},"modified":"2004-10-09T02:10:11","modified_gmt":"2004-10-08T18:10:11","slug":"hilton-dalian-management-agreement-to-end","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2004\/10\/09\/35127\/","title":{"rendered":"Hilton Dalian Management Agreement To End"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"136\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/images\/200410-dalianhilton.gif\" width=\"150\" align=\"right\">Hilton International confirmed today that its management agreement for the operation of the 372-room Hilton Dalian terminated effective October 3.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Mr Koos Klein, President Hilton International Middle East Asia Pacific, said, \u0093We have operated Hilton Dalian since it opened in August 2000.&amp;nbsp; Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to resolve long standing contractual issues with the owner and so, reluctantly, we have had to terminate our management agreement.\u0094 <\/p>\n<p>The owning company of Hilton Dalian is Dalian Chang Jiang Plaza Company Limited.<\/p>\n<p>Hilton International will continue to manage five Hilton hotels throughout China including Hilton Beijing, Hilton Shanghai, Hilton Nanjing, Hilton Chongqing and Hilton Shenzhen.&amp;nbsp; The group has also signed a management agreement with China Jin Mao Group Co., Ltd to open the 500-room Hilton Sanya Resort and Spa in early 2006.
