{"id":35168,"date":"2004-10-26T02:35:24","date_gmt":"2004-10-25T18:35:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2004\/10\/26\/traders-hotel-in-xinjiang-region-to-open-in-2007\/"},"modified":"2004-10-26T02:35:24","modified_gmt":"2004-10-25T18:35:24","slug":"traders-hotel-in-xinjiang-region-to-open-in-2007","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2004\/10\/26\/35168\/","title":{"rendered":"Traders Hotel in Xinjiang Region to Open in 2007"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"135\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/images\/20041026-tradersxinjiang.gif\" width=\"111\" align=\"right\">Xinjiang Lai Yuan Real Estate Development Company&amp;nbsp;and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts&amp;nbsp;announced this week that the&amp;nbsp;two companies&amp;nbsp;have signed a new management agreement for a Traders hotel in Urumqi of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, opening in early 2007.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The capital of Xinjiang region, Urumqi, lies west of the Bogda Mountain and boasts rich natural resources and a cultural heritage that have made Urumqi a special destination for business and leisure travellers. <\/p>\n<p>The 39-storey Traders Hotel, Urumqi is to be located in the central business district of the city, a 30-minute drive from the airport. The hotel's accommodations will feature 500 guest rooms with a minimum floor space of 35 square metres.&amp;nbsp; In addition to a host of Traders signature amenities and services, each room will showcase mountain or city views.&amp;nbsp; Occupying three floors of the hotel, the Traders Club will offer exclusive privileges and services such as express check-in and check-out, free use of meeting room, and a club lounge for daily breakfast and cocktails.
