{"id":35181,"date":"2004-11-11T23:02:04","date_gmt":"2004-11-11T15:02:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/2004\/11\/11\/marriott-hotels-in-shanghai-and-suzhou-raise-project-hope-funds\/"},"modified":"2004-11-11T23:02:04","modified_gmt":"2004-11-11T15:02:04","slug":"marriott-hotels-in-shanghai-and-suzhou-raise-project-hope-funds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2004\/11\/11\/35181\/","title":{"rendered":"Marriott Hotels In Shanghai And Suzhou Raise Project Hope Funds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Marriott Family of hotels in Shanghai, namely JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai, Shanghai Marriott Hotel Hongqiao, Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel, Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai-Pudong and the soon to open Suzhou Renaissance Hotel joined forces with Tianma Golf and Country Club on November 6, 2004, to host a charity golf day in support of Shanghai Project Hope.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the sponsors and all 110 players a total of RMB30,905 was raised and donated to Shanghai Project Hope -a non-profit charity organization that safeguards the educational rights of children in China's poverty-stricken areas.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"97\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/images\/20041110-marriottshanghai-golf.gif\" width=\"209\" align=\"middle\"><\/p>\n<p>This is the third year running that Marriott hotels have organized this event.
