The new airport is sixteen kilometers from the city center of Ganzhou and is built with the aim of achieving a passenger flow of more than 500,000 a year. The new airport project costs RMB520 million and includes a 2,600-meter-long runway, a 36,000-square-meter parking area, and a 7,186-square-meter terminal building.<\/p>\n<p>Ganzhou airport currently operates flights to Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, and Nanchang.
