A new five-star standard hotel, the Victory International Hotel, is opening in Dongguan, Guangdong.<\/p>\n
The hotel is located in Dongkeng Town, Dongguan, and is the first five-star standard business hotel in that town. It has 380 guestrooms including presidential and business suites, Chinese and Western restaurants with private rooms, a Japanese restaurant, a large ballroom, multifunctional rooms, a fitness center, a foot massage center, a shopping mall, and a clubhouse.<\/p>\n
At present, in addition to the towns near to railway or bus stations – such as Changping, Zhangmutou, Humen, Changan, and Houjie in Dongguan – some of its towns at relatively lower level of economic development have begun to build high-end hotels. For example, at the beginning of this year, Wellton International Hotel, built to five-star standards, opened in Qiaotou Town, and in Xiegang Town, there is currently a new five-star standard hotel in the pipeline.<\/p>\n
According to data published by the Dongguan Tourism Bureau, as of the middle of April 2008, Dongguan had a total of 99 star-grade hotels including 18 five-star and 25 four-star properties.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
