A great hotel needs to have both remarkable software and hardware. This is why we decided to partner with Marriott International. Marriott is one of the most famous hotel management groups with a profound heritage and it manages more than 3,000 properties worldwide. Throughout its eight-decade history, Marriott leads the industry in terms of enhancing hotel managerial know-how and talent development. It is the partner of choice for our He Yi Avenue hotel project."

Located in the heart of the central business district of Ningbo within a mixed-used project containing a 38-story building that will house the hotel and office space. The hotel faces the southern tip of Jiangbei across the Yuyao River, which is now home to a newly redeveloped historic neighborhood housing trendy restaurants and entertainment spots. Within walking distance is Tianyi Square, Ningbo's main shopping area.

Stephen Chung, country general manager for China of Marriott International, said, "China is one of the most important markets in the world for both business and leisure travel nowadays. Marriott International is committed to expand our network there. Like our development strategy in other international markets, we will first establish a strong presence with its portfolio of lodging brands in those gateway cities, then stretching to other locations. Ningbo is one of the most important cities in eastern China, therefore it is logical for Marriott International to have our foothold there."
