Xi'an Supports Development Of Its Tourism Industry

The Xi'an government has published a policy offering major support for the development of the city's tourism industry.

According to this policy, travel agencies that operate inbound and domestic tour business will be given performance bonuses. In the Golden Weeks and shorter holidays, the Xi'an government will grant toll-free passage on all municipal highways. The government will encourage major attractions around the city to offer discounted tickets to tourists: those that offer a 50% discount will be given a 20% allowance by the municipal financial department.

In addition, Xi'an is considering issuing the travel coupons within the city.
