China's Spring Airlines Launches New Flights

The low-cost carrier Spring Airlines Company has announced that it will launch flights on two new routes in August 2010.

The Shenyang to Chengdu via Shijiazhuang route will be launched on August 4 and the other route, between Shenyang and Xi'an, will be launched on August 6.

The Shanghai-based carrier will offer deep discounts on the two routes, with starting prices of CNY99 for a single person.

Spring Airlines, China's first budget airline, has carried 12.56 million passengers since its establishment five years ago.
