The latest statistics published by the Hainan Provincial Bureau of Statistics indicates that the room occupancy of hotels around the province has been higher than last year.

According to the latest statistics issued by the Guangdong Provincial Tourism Bureau, for the first seven months of 2008, the numbers of inbound tourists in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Zhuhai decreased — visitors to these cities account for over 70% of Guangdong's travel market.
