China's Aviation Industry Lost CNY28 Billion In 2008

Yang Guoqing, deputy director of Civil Aviation Administration of China and a deputy to the current CPPCC meeting, has disclosed to local media that China's aviation industry suffered a total loss of CNY28 billion in 2008, which is said to be the biggest loss suffered by the Chinese aviation industry in 30 years.

CNTA: Local Governments Can Resume May Golden Week

Liu Xiaojun, a representative of the China National Tourism Administration, has told the media that although CNTA had not considered resuming the May Golden Week holiday, it was possible that the local governments at various levels may resume the holiday on a trial basis if they think it's conducive to their economic development.
