Fujian Initiates Program To Promote Tourism

According to People's Daily, Fujian province in China will join forces with the travel authorities of both mainland China and Taiwan to initiate a program to attract more mainland tourists to visit Jinmen, Mazu, Penghu, and Taiwan Island via Fujian.

113 Travel Agencies Approved To Provide Taiwan Service

According to The Measures for the Administration of the Travel of Mainland Residents to the Taiwan Region and Regulations on the Management of Travel Agencies, 113 international travel service providers from 25 Chinese provinces have been designated as the second group of travel agencies to provide Taiwan travel services.

China Yida Holding Company, a media and tourism management company, has signed a letter of intent with the Yongtai County government to develop the largest leisure and tourism destination in the city of Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province.
