2010上海世博会将在5月1日至10月31日与来自世界各地的参观者见面，整个世博会历时184天，届时将有近240个国家和组织参展，吸引7000万人次前往参观。本次世博会的主题是“城市，让生活更美好”，副主题是“城市多元文化的融合”、“城市经济的繁荣”、“城市科技的创新 ”、“城市社区的重塑”、“城市和乡村的互动”。这是继2008年北京成功举办奥运会之后，在中国举行的又一大国际盛会。
