An official of the Consulate General of South Korea in Shanghai said that the South Korea tourist visa application procedure has been simplified for people in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Anhui.

Design For Peace Hotel Shanghai Approved

Design company Hirsch Bedner Associates has announced that the design for the Peace Hotel Shanghai has been approved by Jin Jiang International, and the hotel is planned to reopen in March 2010 as the Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai.

Nobel Winner Visits Crowne Plaza Fudan Shanghai

Professor Yasushi Honda of the University of Tsukuba, Japan — a Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2007 for his work on climate change — recently stayed in the Crowne Plaza Fudan Shanghai. He was welcomed by Christophe Lajus, the general manager of the Crowne Plaza Fudan Shanghai, upon his visit.
