Air France To Increase Flights From Shanghai To Paris

Air France will increase the number of flights from Shanghai to Paris from its original 12 a week to 14 on June 9, 2008.

The additional services include one daily flight and one at night. By doing this, Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines can provide a total of four flights a day flying to Europe, making Shanghai the destination with the largest number of flights on the two companies' China routes. At present, Air France operates 45 weekly flights between China and Europe, including 14 on each of the routes to Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong; and three to Guangzhou.

In the summer of 2008, Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will provide 77 weekly flights between Europe and mainland China, Hong Kong (Air France 45 plus KLM 32), not including code-shared ones.
