United Airlines Earns Approval To Train Chinese Pilots

United Services Flight Training, a division of United Airlines, has become the first training provider outside of China to receive Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) certification to train the nation's airline pilots.

Starwood Signs Management Contract For New China Hotel

Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and Zhongshan Garden Hotel Company Limited have signed an agreement for Starwood to manage the Sheraton Zhongshan Hotel in Guangdong. The newly built 350-room Sheraton Zhongshan Hotel is scheduled to open in January 2009.

The China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) announced that more than 185 scenic spots in the country, including nine in Beijing have been rated 4A by a special assessment team.
