Accor's New Guangzhou Novotel Scheduled For Late 2005

The Guangdong Airport Management Corporation has appointed Accor to manage the only hotel at the new international airport in Guangzhou. The Novotel Baiyun Airport Guangzhou is scheduled to open in October 2005.

Yeo Cheow Tong, Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Singapore, came to Swissôtel Beijing on March 28, 2005. The Singapore official was on official business to conduct negotiations with his Chinese counterparts.

Shangri-La Plans Wenzhou Expansion

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts announced at a ground-breaking ceremony this past weekend that it will open a luxury hotel in Wenzhou in early 2008.
